"Very good"

The apartment was quite comfortable. The only small disappointment was the view off the balcony. We could see the ocean but did not look down on lava pools as it looked in the photo but looked down on a hotel. But the balcony was very nice and the apartment was comfortable.

"Great place to stay!"

Everything was fine. It’s well equipped, seems the owner is using it from time to time. Balcony with sunrise view is amazing (living-room too)! Good restaurants around, shop etc and you can avoid crowded Funchal :)

Lack of elevator for some people might be a problem. Parking is public next to road but had no problem to find the space in November.
