Excellent position for getting around Funchal. Exactly as described and photographed. We were able to drop bags early so we could explore.

Comfortable well equipped modern apartment in great location. Easy walk to the old town and beautiful view. Lígia, the manager, was very pleasant and helpful. All the little details like dishwasher tablets and basic cooking essentials had been thought of. We really enjoyed our stay here.

THE VIEW IS UNREAL!! The balcony is large with a table and chairs, perfect for coffee in the AM and drinks in the evening while watching the harbor below. Property manager Ligia is very helpful, kind and responsive. The apartment is tastefully decorated and there are thoughtful touches that make it feel more homey such as the bottle of wine, bananas and cookies that were gifted to us. Kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to make a few meals without difficulty. We loved the washer and dryer for our clothes. The location is off of the Main Street and even though it looks far away on a map, don’t be deterred. It was 5-10 min walk away from all the shops and restaurants in either direction. Plus there is a beautiful city park across that is worth walking around in. We actually liked being slightly outside the busy city area.

Minor but the shower drained very slowly. Also there is a casino/nightclub right across the street which can be a bit loud but nothing that the property did wrong.

The view was stunning! We enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning watching the routines of the harbor below. At night, watching the lights of Funchal with a gloss of wine was a great way to end the day. The apartment was very clean and decorated beautifully. Parking was easy, and the neighborhood had plenty of restaurants and beautiful parks. It was so easy to walk into Funchal. We had a lovely stay!

The view! Amazing! Great location, comfortable, equipped with everything you may need. Ligia the property manager was very helpful, friendly and quickly reacting to all the queries we had.

Parking was a bit of a challenge particularly when arriving after 5pm but this appears to be widespread challenge in Madeira… the drainage was slow in the bathroom and despite quick help from Ligia the shower tray kept overflowing and we had to keep turning the tap on and off when showering. But in all honestly, this was not the end of the world and good for the environnent anyway.

This place was really amazing! Starting of course with the best view ever! Drinking morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening with this view was just a perfect experience:) on top of that the aparment is very well situated - it is very close to the city centre, places to eat or supermarket which is opened till 22 every day! The flat is equipped with everythig you need to prepare a nice meal. The bed is very comfortable as well.
