"Spacious apartment requiring some renos"

Spacious

We had black mould in some rooms including bathrooms, apartment could do with a thorough clean. Construction in front of the apart, very noisy. Also noisy in the night with party goers returning toll 5am in the morning.

"Excellent, spacious apartment! Close parking garage, Air Conditioning, Elevator, and Washer!"

We had a couple of delayed flights and lost luggage so with our 1 am arrival, it was wonderful to be able to get the outside door code and have the key under the mat for us. We loved the parking garage right near the apartments and found parking always available for our 2 rental cars (which is not easy in Portugal). We loved the air conditioning in each room and especially loved that it had an elevator (also rare in Portugal). We loved having a washing machine and large pantry area for food and supplies as well. Such a great apartment for a large group!!! My kids also LOVED the 4 twins in a room and their very large bathroom. Their favorite bathroom of our 10 day trip.

The apartment is located in a local party area. When we arrived, it was extremely busy with drinking and partying on the street. This was the case for Friday and Saturday night until 3-4 a.m. Very loud music and large groups of people that made it difficult to bring the luggage to the apartment and go to sleep - but this was due to the time we were arriving. If you are planning on being there Friday or Saturday night, be aware it is a very social area for the locals to hangout at. We did find the area very clean the next mornings though. So, bring ear plugs and you should be fine and try not to arrive during the late hours of Friday or Saturday night.
