Schon bei der Ankunft hat die Wasserversorgung nicht funktioniert, es gab zu keiner Zeit warmes Wasser. Regelmäßige Nachfragen beim Vermieter würden immer mit der selben Antwort abgetan: ja ja ein Kollege ist unterwegs. Leider ist nie ein Mitarbeiter aufgetaucht.

Wir haben ein Upgrade für das Casa Varanda erhalten. Toll, wirklich nur eine lange Treppe vom Strand entfernt. Komplett eingerichtete Küche und ein gemütlicher Wohnbereich. Bad und Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock waren über eine schmale Treppe zu erreichen: wirklich ein typisches altes Fischerhaus, komplett saniert und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Zur Begrüßung standen Wein, Obst und ein kleiner Snack bereit. Ebenso gab es eine Erstausstattung an Wasser und Saft. Wir fanden es sehr schön, dass Strandhandtücher zur Verfügung standen.

Da gab es wirklich nichts Negatives.

It was perfect start to our month long vacation.

Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig und grosszügig und stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Lage war super mit Sonne bis zum Untergang. Die grosszügige Terrasse mit verschiedenen Liege/Sitzmöglichkeiten war auch super. In paar Minuten ist man am schönen Strand von Salema.

This is a gorgeous, fully refurbished apartment with a delightful sun patio. The house sits atop a steep hill overlooking the beach and the Atlantic Ocean!

Just before we arrived, the village closed the street leading up to the house and proceeded to tear up the street, making passage to the house impossible. Because of my husband’s back problems, we were forced to move to another place for all but the 1st night of our stay in Salema. Because the group that owns and manages the property were so responsive, we were refunded all of our money except for the 1st night.

The location is a bit of a challenge, not easy to reach with your luggage and parking is a challenge during busy times
