The Palms Apartment - Sun & Sea Madeira

Comfortable and well-equipped. Located near a nice beach. Quiet and peaceful with everything I needed for the stay.

Shower door is a bit leaky - likely just needs resealing. But otherwise, nil issues.

Great contact with the owner. Everything as described. Quiet place, free parking spot in front of the building. (Banana factory not operating during our stay - no noise).

The apartman was cosy, and spacy the bed was confy. Close to the beach, next to a banana plantation. It is a very calm place, a car is essential. The internet is quick, the garden was nice.

The apartman is a bit dark, looking to a small patio. Some sharp knife would be useful in the kitchen.

The owner was in contact with me from before the day of arrival, and throughout my stay. The check-in was very smooth. I got immediate response to all my messages. The apartment is decorated very aesthetically and is fully-furnished. The location is simply perfect for exploring Madeira. The sunset view from the coast was amazing. I would love to stay here again.

Perhaps a few suggestions for nearby grocery shops and restaurants would have been nice. I had to look around to find a decent grocery store and cafes. It would have been nice to have some mosquito nets on the windows so I could open them for ventilation. I opened them one evening and a few mosquitos entered the apartment. I didn't dare do it again, and the apartment got stuffy over the next days due to lack of ventilation.

No air conditioning and next to the banana factory was very noisy. It was hot so hard to sleep without even a fan.

If there is a coffee maschine there could be also 3 capsules, just so we know which should we buy. Also more kitchen equipmnet would be nice

Full equipped flat. Self checking and communication is easy going. Apartment is located on a calm place.

We loved the location and the appartment. The owner was helpful. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. We had wonderful time. It is close to the beach and you have a trip to levadas. It is better to have a car but it is possible to travel by bus too. There is no shop nearby but there are lovely restaurants and bars.
