It’s a perfect small studio in the best part of cascais, right off one of the main streets but surprisingly nice and quiet! The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great, the only issue I found really was the tap water gets very hot and I couldn’t figure out how to cool it down, but this doesn’t apply to the shower. The kitchen is perfect and has almost everything you would need to even stay long term, except I did think in some areas it was under equipped on cutlery but a small fix would be fine. You are 2 minutes walk to one of the nicest beaches I’ve been to. There’s a catholic church literally a few feet opposite from the apartment, the church bells will wake you up at 9am if you try to sleep in but this was fine for me! Also a great local church worth visiting on Sundays. The auchan supermarket 5 minutes walk away has literally everything you need. The train station is 2 minutes walk from the apartment and goes from cascais right into Lisbon in about 40 mins. Lots of nice local restaurants nearby, it’s not as expensive as I expected if you pick your spot! Washing machine is great too.

What would make it 5 stars and I think would make it long term liveable would simply be air conditioning, the shutters are great and there is a fan, but it still gets very hot. I stayed in October and it did at times feel too hot too sleep. You definitely need to prepare by putting shutters down, leaving windows open and fan on full blast every time you leave. Air conditioning would resolve this.

We liked the location and easy check in. The rooms were small but comfortable and we loved the balcony and living area. Staff was helpful and good at communicating with us in person and by WhatsApp.

Відмінне розташування на береговій лінії у самому серці Кашкайшу, вихід на напівприватний пляж. За 10 хвилин ходьби від залізнодорожного і автовокзалу. Дуже уважний і привітний персонал , готовий негайно відгукнутися на любу потребу гостей. Зупинялася у цьому помешканні вже двічі. Брали номер на першому поверсі ( економно для 2-х людей). Тут є недолік - ванна кімната маленька. Також відсутня можливість відкрити вікно - воно дивиться на вулицю, де сусідній будинок це Сенуранція Соціал ( там постійно збираються неблагополучні люди, іноді сплять просто на вулиці біля вікна). На другому поверсі також брала номер. Він у двох рівнях, просторий, з виходом на терасу. Ремонт вже не новий, та добре збережений . Досить чисто. Недолік - без виду на океан. Кондиціонер лише на верхньому рівні. Внизу ( де спальні) жаркувато влітку.

Perfect location

It was generally very basic, bedside lights didn’t work, the woodwork was shabby, especially the coffee table. No little extras that one usually expects with a booking such as tea bags, sugar, coffee or condiments. No washing up liquid - I had to request tea-towels. The place generally needs a make and could/should be spectacular. Overall disappointing!
