TheCalming Cactus Cascais

The accommodation was much bigger than expected and was very clean. We really enjoyed the adjoining swimming pool-although this is shared between several apartments, we had it almost to ourselves most of the time. The apartment was really well equipped and the team who checked us in and out were very responsive. Good location only about a 10min walk to the beach. There was a supermarket also around a 10min walk away on the beachfront.

Heavy dust in places and musty smell in bedrooms. Not in Cascais but Estoril.

It was our second time staying at TheCalming Cactus. Perfect calm green place. Everyday we were walking to the beach, every our request was perfectly satisfied by wonderful host Sofia. There is a communal swimming pool for this separate house we stayed at and the next building with 4-5 flats, but the whole 10 days we used it as if it was only ours.

Of courese we would prefer that the swimming pool was warm because we were in Cascais in December and in March, but nevertheless it didn't prevent us from enjoying all the delights of this wonderful place!

Whole experience was superb. Sofias help checking in and out was excellent. Highly recommend will definitely be booking again. You will not be disappointed. Apartment was 5*

The host's agency staff were exceptionally professional, helpful and responsive to our queries.

The wifi signal was poor, especially during the day. Better late in the evening, for some unknown reason, but this was not important for us.
