Madeira Mar - "Seaside"

We stayed at this apartment with 2 children and it was like going from home to home. There is absolutely everything that you would need for your stay and even more. The apartment is spacious with a lovely view of the ocean. The host is very helpful and friendly. Stefan picked us up from the airport and we hired a car directly from him, so there was no extra hassle. We would definitely recommend this Madeira Mar apartment and would love to come back again.

construction dust and noise from 4 to 7 pm and sometimes all day. Dogs adjacent property barking continuously and occasionally all night! The upland bedroom was less noisy...the seaside bedroom noisy...and blind needs repair.

Great hospitality and services provided by the host (picked us from the airport, returned us on our departure). Spacy appartment with fully equipped kitchen, parking garage, well functioning air conditioner.

More like an advice to the host: extra sets of duvet covers would be very useful (not all couples prefere a mutual cover :).

Very big appartment, 2 separate bedrooms, 1 living room, big balcony with a big table, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, quite good equipment in the kitchen (actually there was everything you need). The host picked us up from the airport and drove us back.

It could be a little bit more clean, when we arrived couple of bins were not trashed, also the bathrooms could be a little bit more clean, but it wasn't that bad either. The swimmingpool on the roof wasn't that plesent (in the end we never used it, as the weather wasn't great, but it wasn't looking that good as on the pictures). Also worth mentioning that next to appartment, there is ongoing construction (it was not disturbing us that much, as we were whole day outside of apartment)

The apartment was dirty - unclean toilet, bathroom, floors, trash in the bins left, disgusting smelly towels. There cannot be any excuse on this! It's absolute no-go! Avoid booking this place, save your money for better stay.

Nothing to not like

The apartment matches the pictures and the hosts have put a lot of attention and care to make sure the guests have everything that is needed for a great stay. Stefan was extremely attentive, always willing to help with booking transfers, getting an additional car rental or fixing an extra baby car chair. The view is fantastic and location is quite good if you want to travel around the island.
