Great location. Lots of character.

I thought there were 2 bathrooms, but only one.

Location.

Kitchen tired and grubby. Well past it’s “sell by date”. Cutlery drawer difficult to open so we kept cutlery on top of worktop. A big disappointment was the patio area, which we’d looked forward to sitting out on, but it was so dirty we didn’t use it.

The location is the best thing as the apartment is right in the centre of Cascais. It is a spacious apartment with outdoor space in the form of an interior terrace.

The building is quite old which in some ways adds to its charm, though it could do with some refurbishment work and there is quite a strong musty smell.

Beautiful historic building with great central location. Nicely decorated. Close to restaurants and beach. There are a nice small park just in front of the house. Big living room, very cosy and comfortable. Nice patio with greenery, perfect for a meal or drink outside. Kitchen is old but has all that you need.

There are no proper door between bedroom and toilet. Loud club music from nearest club until 1-2 am, so it wasn't possible to open the patio door for some fresh air during the night. We could hear every! single! step! from apartment above. Very loud neighbors from upstairs had a 7am check-out on Sunday morning. Then they did apartment cleaning Bedding was strange. Pillows fell out of pillowcases. Blanket did not have a duvet cover, just one sheet. Sorry, but there were no comfort sleep for us.

The security deposit policy of cash only. This held up check out until we met with staff to get our deposit back. We will not return to this property because of this policy.
