Arco da Graça Apartment

Check-in was fantastic with Laura. She met us at the apartment and gave us a detailed tour of it and showed us how everything worked. She responded to text messages immediately. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped with everything you need and there were some thoughtful extra touches, such as a sewing box. Bedrooms were a good size and the beds were clean and comfortable. Good selection of glasses, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.

The shower was over a deep-sided bath and although there was a grab rail, it would not be suitable for anyone infirm or a little unsteady on their feet to climb over the bath to get in the shower. Access to the apartment is via a lift leading off the enclosed ground level car park from the street. The apartment itself is very nice, but it is located in a dodgy area (Martim Moniz) which we did not expect as it is only 5 mins walk from Praça Dom Pedro lV main square. As 2 ladies on our own, we were warned by locals to be careful going out at night, so we did not feel relaxed and some of the people loitering in the streets made us feel uncomfortable. I am used to cities, having lived in central London for 25 years and also I am not usually bothered by street noise. However, shouting and loud voices in the streets below the apartment often went on until 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. and we had frequent nights of interrupted sleep.

My sister and a friend and I stayed in October. We loved this apartment and the location! It was so easy to get around to all the top sights. The apartment was very clean and so cute! It had everything we needed! The pictures were spot on! Laura, our host was fantastic and so helpful with any questions we had.

There is a little noise from the restaurant and bar, but we had fans and slept really well!

If taking a car the allocated space is tight, and the lift code to the garage or excit the garage seems to constantly being charged

Space and facilities inside the property, central location, comfortable beds

The close proximity to the restaurant outside and the noise levels after 2300. The restaurant closed before midnight but the customers stayed on outside drinking. Even with the windows closed the noise disrupted our sleep. No aircon in the property but the fans did help.

It was clean. The room was dark at night.

It wasn’t the location I had hoped for (Chiado) but good for walking most places. It was noisy at night. There was no lobby or anyone to ask questions. You enter thru a driveway and carpark - fortunately there was someone there to meet us or we never would have found it. Would have appreciated a small container of milk or water in the fridge.

Good location and within walking distance to most things. Good size apartment.

With No Airconditioning it was rather warm given the weather as we had to shut windows because of the noise when we slept.

The apartment was beautiful and in a great location. Laura met us at the property and gave us all of the information we could need. The property is within walking distance of many of the important sites and the trolley and metro stops are also nearby. The elevator up to the castle are is a short walk as is the grocery store. We especially liked the fully equipped kitchen so that we could cook when we wished. a beautiful place.

We were right above a tapas bar that on certain nights was very loud late into the night. We not only had to close the windows, but wore earplugs as well. With no air conditioning, it was a bit warm at night.

Apartment is very clean. Location is great, near major public transport, bus ( in front of the building and Praca Figueira is very close) and metro. All appliances eere in perfect shape. Very stylish furniture decoration, made to feel you like you at home. Attention was paid to the details: functionality, decoration, furniture, kitchen, pictures, utensils, etc. Building is very safe! There is building security.

A little bit noisy outside, untill 12 p.m., from the nearby cafe. Need to keep windows closed. It is not a big deal, it is central city area, so some extra noise is expected. If you are tired from walking, you will sleep well. Beds are very comfortable.
