Maison du Village - Sesimbra

Ótima casa, bem acolhedora td novinho muito bem equipada e limpa. Bem localizada próximo de tudo. Área externa maravilhosa.

Alojamento espaçoso, com decoração moderna e em bom estado de conservação. A casa tem tudo o que precisamos para uma confortável estadia em família. Cozinha muito bem equipada. O ar condicionado permitiu que tivéssemos uma estadia agradável, mesmo nos períodos de mais calor. Localizada numa zona tranquila, a habitação correspondeu às nossas expectativas.

Por estar com pessoas com menos mobilidade, as escadas dificultaram.

The location was absolutely fantastic – with a lovely little corner shop right next door and the best bakery in town just around the corner. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony was a real highlight – a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The kitchen could use some updating, and for a house of this level, it would be great to have a matching set of wine glasses for 8 people. The balcony furniture was plastic, which made the space feel a bit bare – it would really benefit from something warmer and more inviting, like a lounge chair or outdoor sofa. The apartment is also beginning to show small signs of wear, though nothing major. We also had an issue with missing covers on the head pillows, which was never resolved. After I followed up for a second time, the hosts stopped replying in English and only responded in Portuguese, which made communication difficult. Unfortunately, the issue remained unresolved. Lastly, a tip for light sleepers: the nearby church rings its bells early and frequently, so earplugs might be a good idea if you’re hoping for a sleep-in.

Fantastic location, very spacious, lots of appliances, utilities and good Internet. 20 seconds to a bakery and a convenience store.

There is nothing I can share perhaps the parking situation but it is not related to the property. It’s difficult to park in Sesimbra and public spaces are payable every day.

The property was excellent and the service was great. We were allowed in very early as it was unoccupied when we arrived which was hugely helpful.

The only thing was that the downstairs shower was blocked so it flooded if you took longer than about 2 minutes. The upstairs shower was very complicated to work out. Some instructions (in English) would be very helpful.

Spacious house, easy walking distance to the restaurants/beach (the town is hilly, so that is unavoidable), spotlessly clean and recently refurbished. Highly recommended.
