Ocean Dream Apartment- Air Condition

The Appartment hadvery just recently undergone a complete renovation, everything was brand new ie furniture etc, It was a very spacious clean appartment. There was shopping centres and supermarkets, resturants close by ie a few minutes walk away . There was a bus stop 1 min way which could take you to the old town. it was close to beach/ cliff top walk. the host Abel was great and very helpful and prompt to anwer any queries we had. There was a very large patio where we could sit out and with table & chairs , sun umbrella and sun loungers . I can highly reccomend this appartment and we will use it the next we are in Funchal.

No issues

Spacious and well-equipped rooms. The proximity to the beach and shops made the stay particularly convenient. Abel, the host, was extremely helpful and always available, which greatly contributed to a smooth experience. His assistance with car rental was especially valuable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend to everyone!

The cleanliness could be improved.

A little to hot

Very spacious apartment, equipped with all necessary devices, dishes etc. Large terrace with two indepedent entries, two sleeping rooms, living room, kitchen and WC. Parking place at the basement. Despite located high density housing (Sao Martinho hotels nearby), it's unbelievably quiet in apartment and terrace. What you can hear at mornings and evenings is just birds singing and ocean waves sound. On the other hand, there are plenty shops, services and restaurants in proximity of 5-10 minutes walk. Nearest beach (Formosa) is 5 minutes walk, bus stop is just next to apartment. Another plus is quick access to ER101 road starting from which you can conveniently reach all attractions Madeira offers. Availablity and contact with host was perfect.

I liked the large balcony, the fact that the location was good, with a bus stop right next door. The apartment was spacious and had everything necessary for living. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed. The owner was very helpful.

What I didn't like was that since the buildings are not heated, there is moisture inside the rooms during the autumn-spring season. The owner brought us a heater on a rainy day, and the situation improved.

The terrace was large with different seating options. The beds were very comfortable. Great location for us.

Noisy fridge/freezer - sounded like it was snoring!

Huge rooms, with king size beds, amazing terrace, nice living room, well prepared kitchen.

Just 3 minutes from the ocean, but you can absolutely hear the ocean waves sitting outside, and an amazing seafood restaurant on the other side of the street.

The apartment is clean, confortable and we really liked the terrace surrounded by palm trees and plants.

The kitchen could be a little more equipped. It would be nice to have salt, sugar and a baking sheet.
