Apartment Girasol Front Beach Quarteira Algarve

We had three 3 full days of awful noise and dust from drilling inside the appartment block starting right outside the appartment. They were actually making a 10 in hole through the stair case for hour after hour every day. The owner acknowledged he knew about the work and even agreed to compensate for the awful noise and disturbannce and dust, but a week later has failed to make any decision about compensation. His whole attitude was about as good as the appartment. Complete lack of interest. I had to chase for entry instruction on day of arrival. The entrance door was faulty, then 2nd day the back entrance door was faulty. The appartment lacked care. Pillow was unusable . Cutlery mismatched and old. Coffee perculator old and useless, not sufficient toilet roll. Whole place was very disappointing. If this has been on air b&b they would have had to compensate for a really awful holiday. My only holiday for the year and was not good.

Easy access to the beach and main promenade. Free parking is available on the street. Good size shower.

The apartment is in dire need of a complete refurbishment with cupboards falling apart and new modern kitchen appliances needed. We had to request additional towels, cleaning materials, and loo rolls as that provided was totally inadequate for a weeks stay their. A grumpy old lady appeared the next day and gave us some stuff. We noticed clean laundry, bed linen, cleaning products, and towels locked away in a cupboard!! The bed was something you got cheap from a charity shop with a thin mattress and slated bed. Any why do they still think we need several blankets tucked in. Have they not heard of duvets? The sofa was of similar bad quality, but this time, a lot of slats were missing or broken, allowing us to only be able to sit on half of it! Unless you have a small car, don't contemplate parking in the building's underground carpark.

Amazing location just few steps from lovely beach. And nice restaurants in area and supermarket. So difficult to find the location then find the keys. The bathroom was very old and door didn’t shut and only one toilet roll for 5 nights. Asked for more and no response. Not a massive problem with supermarket so close. Location amazing, general apartment ok for the price

Great location. Very responsive host who accommodated an early check in.

We stayed in December and the nights were cold. There was no heating in the bedroom. Bathroom ventilation could have been better.

Position is Very good, clean appartnent.

Equipment was abraded.
