The location of the house is perfect! Near restaurant and in the middle of the island. Large city Ribeira Grande is near this village.

The view outside the window. Convenient to fabulous restaurant and grocery market.

Bathroom needs an upgrade (especially shower). Very noisy (right along main road).

Owners had everything we needed for our stay ready for us. Told us about the surrounding area and let me tell you, it’s a beautiful spot on Sao Miguel. Apartment was super clean. Owners are super friendly.

The location is central which makes access to the main spots in the island quite easy, coupled with the excellent design and condition of the main roads. The friendliness of the people we interacted with, delicious!

Having to leave São Miguel after only 7 days…

Great service in having keys accessible for checking in. The place had very good dinnerware, cooking facilities. Excellent bedrooms with spacious bathroom and living room.

Casa da Avo Ines has all the comforts of home. All you need to bring are your essentials. The bathroom has body wash and shampoo as well as a blow dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need; a washing machine, a toaster, microwave, electric kettle, cheese grater, strainer....all the things you need to cook; all you need to buy are the ingredients. I stayed for 2 weeks with my elderly mother, my sister, and my 9 yr old daughter. We loved how spacious it was. We all had our own room, and even when hanging out downstairs, we had plenty of space. The location is perfect! There's a great restaurant that's literally a 2 minute walk and a small supermarket with all the essentials thats a 3 minute walk. There's laundry on site and a clothesline just outside your door to hang your clothes. They also have a portable drying rack if you want to try your clothes inside or on the back porch. There were some outdoor cats (with 3 little kittens) that my daughter fell in love with. She looked forward to getting up first to feed and play with them every morning. I would definitely stay there again. In fact, I plan on going back in about a year or two and will stay here again.
