Pretty design, clean, nice terrace, well equipped kitchen, some snacks available upon arrival.

It was cold and humid inside, pouring rain on the roof made a lot of noise (like echo-ing style almost, louder than you'd expect).

The apartment is well organized and equipped with all amenities you may need. From the bathroom to the kitchen, extra care is put into place. The apartment is clearly newly renovated and generally cozy and nice. They also provided some fresh bananas and some other products from the Azores. Really well thought for people travelling that don't want to buy everything new every time they change accommodation. They also have a washing machine and dryer in a smaller building by the apartments, all included in the price. The apartment was clean and tidy at our arrival, really great!

Unfortunately humid, and the smell of humidity is quite heavy. There are also some problems with ants, but that's not from the apartments itself: ants go everywhere they want and it's difficult to get them to stay out. Just to bear in mind to be careful, you may bring them along with you.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this lovely house. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we could ask for, from a full kitchen to a BBQ and laundry facilities. The banana trees in the yard added a nice touch! Having two dedicated parking spaces was very convenient. The house appears to have been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. We would definitely stay here again.

situated in a small village at the very quiet end of the island. good facilities, had everything you could need. the Host very kindly left food in the fridge, plus bread, butter jams etc which was so nice. she also rushed a fan out to us at 22.30 on first night as it was so hot! we were able to use the washing machine and she provided detergent- so very useful after climbing mountains and hiking for a week previous. nice place to sit outside and even a bbq. really lovely host and property.

it was very hot during our stay and there’s no fan or a/c. you can open all the windows (fly nets) and we had the door open to get air through, but at night it became uncomfortable. also the bed was quite hard but we slept on top of the duvet and that made the bed a bit softer. it is advertised as sea view but sadly the trees must have grown since it was advertised, you can see top of Sao Jorge but not sea. take ear plugs because being rural there are a few competing cockerels 😂. all these things are small and easily remedied .

The apartment is in the basement of the house which was not made clear in the booking.com website . Furthermore the living room has no windows and the basement has a high wall around it ,so it is depressing . The bedroom window opens to the road and as it is in the basement any car or person passing the house can look in so you have no privacy . The house is on the road literally . For a rental property on a beautiful Island to have no views and to find that your accommodation is in the basement of the house was more than disappointing ..I believe we were mislead ..and we were very unsatisfied with the accommodation.
