Great location close to the airport, with shops nearby and a sandy beach within walking distance. The owners are very kind and welcoming. The apartment is large and comfortable.

The location is great — it's near the ocean. The apartment is cosy, clean and well equipped. The host is very kind and helpful. Machico is a peaceful place and close to Funchal. The sandy beach is soft and ideal for swimming. The pebble beach offers amazing views. We had an unforgettable holiday in Madeira.

"Idealne rodzinne wakacje"

Apartament w fantastycznym miejscu- bardzo blisko plaży, restauracji, sklepów, przystanku autobusowego. Niesamowicie wyposażony - nie wiem co mogłoby się jeszcze w nim znaleźć. Sama miejscowość tez idealna- blisko Funchal i lotniska, ale kameralna- można miło pochodzić, wszędzie blisko, świetna piaszczysta plaża zwłaszcza dla rodzin z dziećmi, ale jest tez fragment kamienisty na snurkowanie , platforma do skoków i plaża dla surferów-każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Świetny kontakt z właścicielka. Dziękujemy, Marla, za wspaniałe wakacje!

"Not a good choice"

Good space.

A music festival, held 150m from the apartment, that went on until 4am for 2 nights and after 2am on 2 other nights, while host said it would finish by 1am. She refuses to engage with us now. Though originally offered 2 night refund. No air conditioning, we left window open one evening to cool the bedroom, and got destroyed with mosquito bites. Not a great location, too far from Funchal, l would recommend to stay on other side of Funchal (west), some lovely seaside towns over there. This town is ok for a passing day visit. You have to rent a car as it’s between 22€ and 35€ for taxi one way to Funchal, buses can take up to an hour. A pity as Madeira is fabulous but this choice ruined our holiday.
