2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Apartment - Travessa da Madalena

Cute and Location was great once we found the place.

No hot water for our entire 3night/4day stay. There was water on the upper bathroom floor when we arrived, that kept leaking and the upper shower leaked onto the lower floor. Lights in the kitchen didn’t work. Sent message upon arrival, response the next morning “is it still leaking? And is the hot water working now? We will ask our cleaning team to pass by tomorrow morning and if needed we will send a technician Monday”. Then on Monday “the water heater is indeed presenting issues. Will only be able to replace it after your check out.” So be warned!

It was a bit hard to find the shower leaked and limited cooking facilities but fantastic location and very comfortable for a short break

Close to lots of attractions, bars, restaurants, Alfama etc. Would suit solo travel or couples. Clean and has most essentials.

Very difficult to climb stairs on the street which were very slippery from the rain and then we had to climb another very narrow staircase to get into the apartment - and more narrow stairs up again once inside. Very difficult with a suitcase and potentially dangerous in the wet conditions. The bathroom is very small and cramped. The streets outside are a little dark and dodgy at night. I would not recommend for families or long stays here. Not at all accessible or comfortable for older visitors or people living with disability.

Good position, big apartment also good for 7 people. 2 bathrooms and cute balcony.

A little smell sometimes from the bathrooms, but it’s a problem of the city of Lisbon. You close the door of the bathroom and the problem is solved. I didn’t like the fact that on the top floor is difficult to connect charger and use the phone on the bed because of distance of the electrical sockets. I suggest the property to add 2 multiple sockets

The bathroom is very smelly and is very warm inside
