The size of the apartment, the location and Hugo. A very friendly person.

In my opinion the bath needs attention if not to be replaced

The location meant accessibility to the beach and several restaurants

The building in which the apartment Is located is not maintained. My partner got stuck in the elevator and the building smelt of cigarette smoke. The apartment is very outdated. The wooden effect makes the apartment look very bleak. Apart from that the actual facilities needing an upgrade. There is no pride taken in this apartment. I could not find a kettle. There is a nespresso machine- not sure if I was meant to get hot water from there? There is no oven only a stove top. The balcony doors in the lounge did not lock or stay shut. The host suggested this only just happened? As a result my children took the main room and we took the sofa bed to ensure they were safe. The bathroom is tiny and not aesthetically pleasing. The bath also has a yellow stain on it which was questionable. The shower head does not stay still when in use either. The washing machine did not work as water to the machine was switched off. When we switched it on it was leaking which meant we had to stay in and monitor the washing to ensure the water didn't leak all over the apartment. The apartment is very basic and overpriced for what you get. I paid the same amount per night else where and got better value for money. I tried to reach out to customer services but was referred to the host in this instance. There is also a fire extinguisher and fire blanket hidden in a cupboard which we happened to come across before leaving. These should be clearly accessible. This is a very basic and overpriced apartment.

The location is perfect, parking during winter time is super easy, the acoustic of the apartment is very good and has everything needed for a nice stay! Filipa, the host, was always available to help us with anything.

The building itself is very old and we had multiple problems with the elevator and the main door. The “nice” thing is that the apartment is on the second floor, so it’s ok if you need to take the stairs from time to time. This is independent from the apartment itself and I’m not reflecting this on my general rate :)

The space wraps you in a cozy environment that is relaxing and soothing like a hug from your grandma.

The front door key was a bit temperamental but it just meant it wasn't time to go back inside.
