Bem Lembrados Apartment

Zunächst einmal erwartet einen überraschend ein mit Baugerüsten ummanteltes Haus (keine Benachrichtigung oder Möglichkeit einer Umbuchung im Vorfeld). Der Eingang und die Wohnung befinden sich anders als in der Beschreibung im Souterrain, dementsprechend ist es auch wesentlich dunkler und ungemütlicher auf der Terrasse sowie in der Wohnung, als auf den Bildern zu erahnen. Während des Aufenthaltes hatten wir mehrere Probleme wie nicht ablaufendes Wasser in der Dusche, kein Warmwasser in der letzten Nacht, Baustaub auf den Möbeln der Terasse. Die anfänglich gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin entwickelte sich leider zu Ignoranz, die zunächst versprochene Erstattung einer Nacht als Kompensation für die Mängel blieb bisher aus.

Parking a little tricky until we got coins but then it worked brilliantly!

The location is good and the apartment is nice and private. The owner was really nice and answered to messages quickly.

I would have been nice to know about the nearby renevations and building but they didn't really bother us too much.

The basement apartment has a good vibe. Nicely styled. Walking distance from the lovely center (restaurants and beach) of Cascais.

There were some maintenance issues.

Spacious and comfortable beds

It’s a basement apartment so we needed to get out of apartment as there’s no view and it can feel cave like. The smell from bathroom was not good. The table looks good but isn’t practical, the chair and table don’t work, table too tall for chairs

The apartment was in a basement. Photos showed the entrance which is on the ground floor. We 3 cannot be below street level so we had a very difficult time being there and had the worst time together than on our family reunion. I would have Never chosen this property had it been clear it was below street level. And can never go back. I was looking for a place I can go to regularly. Since I had to pay all in advance & non reimbursable I really felt taken advantage of! The bed side lamp did not work, it seemed no one checked it before we checked in. Not small pans to boil eggs for ex. The good parts: it is very well decorated & the owner took care right away of the fact that there was no electricity & no wifi, explained the pans did not work because they were not the right ones for their induction stove. There were basics available like coffee, olive oil & teas for the 1st few days which was very welcoming and thoughtful so people do not have to rush to a store. I did not use any of it but appreciated the gesture.

The location was great. Only a few minutes walk to everything yet quiet. Teresa, the host, was lovely and very responsive and kindly offered a late check out on departure.

A few little things need tweaking back into shape such as wobbly bathroom tap, light bulbs need replacing, that sort of thing but nothing major or annoying.

Decor is simplistic chic! Quiet and private. Hosts extremely prompt with communication.
