Lisbon luxury retreat! 2 suites, balcony & views!!

It’s in the name… luxury. Truly was well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. View was a bonus. Watching the world below with a morning coffee.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property. The location is slightly out of the way but easily accessible by tram or taxi. But that was our choice as super quiet too.

We were told at arrival that there was a water leak in one of the 3 bathrooms, the plumber was working on it, and it would be solved during the day. Unfortunately this didn’t happen, the leak came from the ceiling through the electric lamps, so it didn’t feel safe. We had to contact the company daily for most of our 1 week holiday there. The water dripping was also affecting our sleep at night, and dealing with people coming in every day for 5 days and the plumber working in the above flat banging and knocking throughout the days wasn’t our idea of a holiday. We wrote to Joana, our host, for days without any response and when she finally replied she was insinuating that we were trying to blackmail her. When we asked for a reasonable discount, all communication stopped. Since the problem apparently was there before we came we felt that the apartment shouldn’t have been rented out until it was fixed. That the lift wasn’t working on and off, now seems like a minor problem.

The flat was beautiful. And very spacious. We loved having a large kitchen and a washer.
