The Sunset Nest

Wir können allen Lissabon-Reisenden diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Lage in Graca war eine hervorragende Ausgangsposition für die Altstadt. Kastell und Alfama fußläufig zu erreichen. 2 schöne Aussichtspunkte ganz in der Nähe. Die Tram 28 hält ebenfalls ganz in der Nähe, dort ist auch ein gut ausgestatteter Supermarkt. Das Viertel ist authentisch, wenig touristisch und sicher. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ein gemütliches Nest. Bewundernswert, wieviel Ausstattung auf so wenig Raum Platz hat. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Toll natürlich auch die Aussicht. Es ist sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Sackgasse gelegen. Zu den in anderen Bewertungen beschriebenen Kritikpunkten: Ja, das Badezimmer ist klein und eng, aber so sind diese Wohnungen in den alten Vierteln, das ist kein Mangel. Da wir zu zweit waren, fehlten uns auch keine Abstellmöglichkeiten. Decke auf das Bett im kleinen Zimmer und Koffer drauf. Zu dritt wäre die Unterkunft dann doch vielleicht etwas eng. Kommunikation, Hilfsbereitschaft und Tipps - alles prima. Wir empfehlen den Transfer von Tim's Freund Walter zu nutzen. Er kennt sich gut in den engen Seitenstraßen aus und war uns beim Gepäck sehr behilflich.

Incredible views, quiet, clean, comfortable and updated. Loved the bottle of wine, bowl of fresh fruit, coffee, slippers and binder with helpful information and recommendations. Hard to leave this wonderful gem of a place.

Las vistas están muy bien, la cama muy cómoda y el apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodos. Hay una cafetera que muele el café y estaba muy bueno. Nos regalaron una cesta con fruta variada y una botella de vino tinto.

El baño es pequeño y hay que llevar cuidado de que el agua no se salga pq no hay una mampara, sólo tiene una cortinilla. Tiene muchos canales de televisión y aplicaciones pero no hay comodidad para ver la televisión pq está en el salón dónde sólo está la mesa de comedor. Sería ideal que pusieran allí el sofá y corrieran la mesa pq no estaba bien aprovechado el espacio.

Дуже гарне місце розташування, неперевершений вид із вікна. Любителям кави приємний сюрприз: розумна кавомашина. Усе чисто і затишно.

Лавочки і стільці на вулиці біля дверей, за якими збираються сусіди, ведуть цілу ніч голосні розмови і заважають спати.

Amazing! This place is at the top of a hill and the views are stunning. Customer service was exceptional with someone meeting me the door and giving me run through of the place. Super clean, and spacious enough for two people. I luckily had the whole place to myself. The SMEG coffee machine saved my life every morning and they had a full bowel of fruit so breakfast and snacks were sorted. The bed was super comfy with overhead fan, washing machine, clothes rack great products in the bathroom and kitchen. They had a very extensive information guide of things to do locally which was very helpful. I would 100% book again.

What a perfect place! The location cannot be beat, short walk to everywhere, wonderful food, shops, and attractions just right around the corner. The little neighborhood, Bairro Estrela d'Ouro, is absolutely charming. The view from the apartment is stunning. And the hosts are delightful, particularly Valeria, who met us with the keys, kept our bags for us while we explored Alfama until the apartment was ready, and took such good care of us during our stay. If I return to Lisbon, I won't even bother exploring any other lodging locations, The Sunset Nest was PERFECT.

Very few negatives. The stairs leading to the apartment may be difficult for anyone with significant mobility issues. The bathroom is small, so the whole floor becomes rather wet when showering so it needs to be dried afterwards. If you have a large amount of baggage or very large luggage, you'll have to be a little creative in placing/storing them since the apartment is compact. We were a party of two ladies with one carry-on size bag each and one backpack/shoulder bag each, there was plenty of room for us to unpack, hang/store our clothes and personal items.
