FLH Liberdade Terrace Apartment

Strong bad smell of old building, cockroaches, troubles with wi-fi. But it was considered the compensation after my review.

Location is very convenient.

Cockroach infestation over the apartment and kitchen cupboards. Had to find alternative accommodation at very short notice for the first few days. ACs do not work well. Dimly lit and humid. Pest control person arrived at a very inconvenient time at night.

Great location and accessible to nearby shops and restaurants.

On the 1st day of arrival the bedroom AC did not work. The AC in the living that was minimally working not enough cooling given the fact that it was tremendously hot. When asked about the AC in the bedroom that was not working, I was being told that I need to check the main electric. I was expecting all appliances check before anyone checks in. I am very much disappointed because our whole 3 day stay we have to stay with no proper cooling AC.

The house is nice as in the photos, spacious and very close to the center, the location is perfect; There are all type of facilities, except the washing machine, it is into the house but not included in the price.

Unfortunately we found the house dirty, with a lot of powder and full of mold, indeed we asked an extra cleaning in the house because the smell of mold was terrible and the first night we slept with the windows opened. Considering the cost is the same to the hotel, we expected to find a clean house, while the house had a low level of cleaning and mold. Not recommended for disabled persons because the house can only be reached via an uphill footpath.
