King's Cascais Apartment

Location was excellent and kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Apartment is very spacious. Garden area and plunge pool nice, wine and snacks on arrival nice touch.

Presentation poor. Walls throughout were scuffed and marked in places, and sofa was very badly stained as were some of the scatter cushions. Some light switches only worked intermittently. While the plunge pool and garden area were very nice there were no sun loungers, only a small table and 4 rather grubby plastic chairs. Overall we found the accommodation overpriced for what we got. We had travelled from Porto where we stayed in an apartment of equal size and in an equally premium location which cost 330 euros less but was immaculate. It also had a beautiful communal pool, sauna and gym at no extra cost. There was daily cleaning, linen changed every 3 days and a continental breakfast delivered to your door every morning. I appreciate it may be difficult to maintain a property if it is rented continuously, but when you pay premium prices, you expect a premium property.

Very large modern apartment and clean - great location - lovely bathrooms- kitchen - beds - really big and staff who I dealt with where so nice and friendly- on arrival there was a lovely bottle of wine and local crisps as a compliment how nice ! Lots of bars and restaurants 5 minute walk - Cascai so ncie well recommend to stay !

Pool you couldn’t use it was to cold - it needs to be heated or something to help you use it so unfortunately we found that it can’t be used which was a shame- but everything else about the sort meant was brilliant we loved

Clean apartment. Well maintained. Easy access to contact the host.

Lacking in towel for toilet in lounge area. Lacking in tea towels for kitchen. Lacking in garden furniture beds. Very noisy neighbours playing video games and music. Affecting our sleep.

Great location, quiet but very close to restaurants, shops, beach. Large open plan living room/ kitchen. Well equipped.

The switches for some of the lights had us confused!

What a brilliant rental - luxurious enough for four adults. Suitable builds and space for six but we had four, as such it felt palatial. We utilised the terrace, plunge pool, dining space and social area with comfort. Everything surpassed expectation. You couldn’t get a better location. Five minutes from the citadel, the old town and 15 minutes through town to the beaches (to the east that we only discovered on our final day as we’d ventured west before then to sintra and to the other quieter surfer beaches)

You’re able to hear the road from the garden, which isn’t problematic as a residential street - everything else was perfect so we had to choose something…
