The location and the car park.

The second bedroomn should have a double bed or 2 single ones instead of the dual single, bunk type bed. At least 2 or 4 coffee pods on arrival and some expresso size small cups. Some of the TV picture size settings were blocked!? Couldn't see a normal size picture including the legends!

Beautiful view of the river, excellent communication and directions from the staff, the apartment had everything we needed and it was very spacious.

The only problem - and it was a small one - was that the washer and dryer videos had wrong labels and since we don't know Portugese there was some confusion. It was quickly sorted out, though.

The views and location were amazing. I could watch the river for hours. The decor was classy and simple with really good appliances and a good layout. The floor space was generous, it made a change from the usual tiny European homes. It was mostly quiet except on our last night there was noise above us, but not too bad. It was in good walking distance of the Port houses etc.

Checking in. There in nothing on the booking page to tell you that you have to collect the keys from a different venue right in the busy city. That steals an extra couple of hours trying to find the location, find parking etc in a city that you don't know. I felt that was unfair and deceptive. They should have a lock box at the property. I only discovered it it once the booking had been made. I asked when I booked about the free parking. I had no reply at all. But I could see from the photos there was underground parking. You don't receive a remote for the parking garage when you collect the keys, it is inside the flat. The garage doors are up a precarious rocky driveway to the side of the accommodation. They are well camouflaged and look like window shutters. There are confusing elevators and you need to figure out the right one to get to your floor- more time wasted- but great that you don't need to carry suitcases up flights of stairs. You can only check in late afternoon, but they insist you check out by 11am or you will be charged for another day, so you don't even get 24hrs if you book one night. We stayed a few nights. There were a few issues that needed to be fixed. The main bedroom blind didn't open, so that expensive view you are paying for is hidden unless you climb on a chair and manually roll it up. The blind looks ratty and full of holes, not in keeping with the rest of the place. We did report it and are still waiting for the maintenance people to come and fix it... the 2nd bedroom blind doesn't close properly, so it let's lots of light in. The second bathroom and main bedroom door handles kept falling off. The main bathroom has mould in the shower and the air ventilator was filthy and mouldy. There are no supplies given whatsoever. The facilities are really good, but no dishwasher tablets, a tiny thimble of diluted Dishwashing liquid is all you receive. No washing powder/liquid for washing clothes.

it was a bare apartment , nothing was walking distance , a 4-5 min taxi ride for a cafe/ shop / restaurant . lonely location staff was unresponsive , had to collect the keys from 5 km away. opening the door was a challenge . won’t come back here for sure.
