Charming City Centre Studio near Aliados - Inside Porto Apartments "Pinheiro"

it is a very central location, easy to walk around and see the various sites.

i was not aware that there would be major construction next door, this goes on from about 7:30 in the morning to 7pm each night, no construction on saturday and sunday. also when they say you have a balcony, it is not really a balcony, unless you are a bird, you won't fit so you can't sit on the balcony and even if you could you wouldn't want to due to the construction.

No parking and the road is a dead end - important to know. There is a parking garage nearby but closed very early 8pm daily and closed on Sundays. Another parking garage is a little further down the hill but only accepts cash payments which can be an inconvenience for international travelers (actually both garages only accept cash payments). Because of the location, be cautious and aware of your surroundings. Porto is a big city and I passed by several homeless people sleeping on stoops in the morning and drug addicts hanging around a nearby bus stop. There were more stairs to climb than I thought in the building. Also, I was under the impression the room would be cleaned everyday and have fresh clean towels. It wasn’t and something you should know if you were counting on the same. Additionally, hot water runs out fast and had to coordinate shower schedule with family member with me. One of us had to wash up at night and the other in the morning. Otherwise, the latter will be taking a cold shower if both try to wash up at the same time (trust me I know). The shower was tremendously small and very crapped. It was hard to maneuver washing without hitting the wall, the temperature gauge, or the shower doors.

Really good location! Nice and bright apartment, coffee and tea included. Clean barhroom. I had some difficulties entering the apartment, but Rita helped me really quickly and patiently.

Don't bring anything sweet with you here or at least din't leave it open - if it happens, ants come from the little hole and follow the sweet smell.

Great location central to bars , restaurants. property was lovely , clean and comfortable. No noise from the bars at all . All facilities in the apartment, hairdryer , iron , kettle , toaster, shower gel , shampoo , towels , toilet rolls , air con which is a must if your probe to getting mosquito bites .

loved the property would definitely stay there again . only issue was the loud building work a few streets away which commenced at 8.00am Monday to Friday.
