Host Wise - Colorful Bright Flat with Balcony

Location was very good and within walking distance to everything. Parking is practically non-existent as the streets are always full in the small city streets but there was a 3rd party parking garage just north of the property on the same street that offered 24 hour parking for 20 Euros (duration wise not hours of operation as the garage closes at 11 pm and opens at 7 am). Room was clean and having a 2nd bathroom was nice.

Unfortunately my stay had several problems such as poor communication, inaccurate listing description of facilities, electric problems, and issues with the air conditioner (mini-split). The unit is only accessible via staircase but it thankfully was just one floor up. Air conditioning would not turn on at all. When attempting to use various appliances and plugs in the property, the power completely went out. Customer service was non-existent so I was stuck in a property with no power. I was able to find the electrical panel for the unit on my own and I was able to reset the circuit breakers which did restore power but everytime I attemped to either use certain appliances or plugs, I would need to reset the circuit breakers again. I attempted to call the property 3 times during my stay and they never answered; booking.com support attempted to call themselves twice once I reported issues to them directly and they never answered booking.com's call either. Booking also sent them a message service request and they never responded while I unfortunately was stuck with no help as booking.com stated the property had 48 hours to respond and we had to wait in the meantime. I messaged the property through booking.com's messaging system and they did finally respond but made no effort to resolve any of my issues and didn't even acknowledge some of them; they then stopped responding to my messages after sending only a few generic responses and I never heard from the property again in any capacity.

Recomiendo dar mantenimiento a los aires acondicionados. Uno se apagaba constantemente y el otro tenía una pequeña cascada.

Nice apartments in good condition. Very nice bed linen. Wonderful balconies. The location - it couldn't be better! You can easily walk everywhere. There are many restaurants and bars around. There is a paid indoor parking opposite the apartments.

We were only in Porto for a few nights and wanted to be close to the downtown - this apartment delivered, but was still in a quiet neighbourhood. It was a little tight for 5 people, as there isn't a proper second bedroom, only a wall that slides between the living room and dining room, but we understood that this is kind of the norm for this older part of town. The apartment felt a little unfinished and wasn't as clean as we would have liked, but it offered all of the amenities we were looking for. The bottle of vinho verde left for us on the counter was a nice touch!

We had issues with the air conditioning the entire duration of our stay due to a "timer" that seemed to always shut it off after an hour and, despite resetting the remotes, continued to happen. It made for a lousy, hot sleep every night. There also wasn't quite enough bedding for all three single beds in the living room so one person in our group went without a top sheet. An additional set of keys would have been useful for when the group wasn’t all together. The space definitely wasn’t as colourful as advertised (didn’t look the same as in the photos).
