Great and cosy apartment, fully equipped with everythng you need (and more). Top clean, very cosy, fully equipped kitchen, wash mashine, tumble dryer, lot of space etc. There have been complaints about the bed here on Booking, but we had a super big and super comfy bed, so maybe owner made and update on this. Owner of the apartment is running barber shop downstairs, so you can consult everything with him (via phone-translator). Upon arrival, basket full of food and drinks is waiting for you which is amazing and so sweet... Villa Franca do Campo is more or less in the middle of the island, so perfect spot to discover whole Sao Miguel with car (no need to stay in Ponta Delgada).

Appartment is situated in narrow street, so parking is little bit more difficult, but the street has 100 meters or so and you always find a parking spot there.

The bed is a little bit small and uncomfortable

The location was great and apartment was very nice. The host put out a basket of local foods, including jams, biscuits, desserts, and even coffee pods for the espresso machine. The place was very clean and provided everything we needed. The washing machine came in handy a few times. We parked right in front of the apartment each night without issue, for free.

The internet was slow. It was a vodafone hotspot. While it did provide internet, it was slow and made it difficult to call home to the family. Bed was a bit small and firm.

Modern and clean apartment/studio. Fully equipped kitchen. Good location, in the centre of Vila Franca. A bit noisy outside on weekend nights but closed windows kept the noise out pretty well. When we arrived the WiFi was not working but we contacted the host and the problem was solved immediately. Street parking (free) in front of the apartment.

Bed was not so comfortable, felt a bit narrow (1.40m). But luckily there was also a sofa bed so that's where my husband ended up sleeping ;)
