Alfama Chic Rua dos Remédios

L'appartement est très bien placé: dans un des quartiers les plus sympas de Lisbonne. Proche des transports publics et à pieds on peut visiter les alentours qui sont très sympas.

Juste les marches très hautes pour monter au 1er étage, mais franchement ce n'est absolument pas grave ;-)!

Comfortable beds, nice showers, plenty space

The sewage (drain) smell was terrible and floors not very clean

The location of the apartment is good, the promenade and old town is within walking distance. The kitchen was stocked with spices and oil for cooking. The apartment also had facilities for washing clothes.

The apartment itself looks like the pictures, only a little more shabby. Three bedrooms are located at the far end of the apartment, and one tiny bedroom is immediately upon entering the apartment. Also, an unpleasant surprise was the very dirty floors (our white socks instantly turned black). The picture frames hanging in some rooms are already broken and the plugs are in bad condition. The kitchen was stocked with spices and oil for cooking. There was also a large selection of kitchen appliances, but you couldn't use the toaster because there was always a power cut when you put it on. You must meet with one person to hand over the keys. We announced half an hour in advance that we would start moving from the airport to the apartment, but there was no one at the apartment. I called on the phone and signaled that we were already there, but we still had to wait for a person on the street for about 15-20 minutes

The location , the value of money .it ‘s good for big group

Great location in a nice, old building. Comfortable beds; beautiful, spacious kitchen. Brand new dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Other kitchen utensils( apart from cutlery) are very limited.

The equipment in the bedrooms is very basic. For example, It would have been nice to have a mirror in each bedroom. The third bedroom is very small. It would have been great if the hosts provided 2 or 3 dishwasher tabs so we didn’t have to purchase a full pack…. Important to know: there is no elevator and one needs to carry the luggage up two flights of steep stairs.

The place offers value for money and is quite spacious. Many other apartments only accommodate four people.

Some things were not working or simply not up to par. I can't imagine we were the first to experience this. The oven was not working and the host did not respond to our message (which they normally did quite fast). The toilet kept flushing unless you readjust the toilet float twice daily. One of the folding beds has a bent frame. And lastly the shower wall is leaking so the bathroom floor gets wet. We could live with this but it's only fair someone sums 'em up in a review for others.

Great location, walking distance to cultural highlights and restaurants.
