Location

The owner was verbally abusive and threatened to leave us 'sleeping on the street outside' when our key was taken from the safe box so we couldn't access the apartment. We had assumed we could store the key in the safe box while we went out for the day as we were a group so it would be better than one person having the key. The owner rudely blamed us for the key being taken, although she never informed us not to reuse the safe box. After much cajoling the owner agreed to provide an alternative key but the whole process was very distressing and could have derailed our holiday plans entirely, particularly given that we were paying guests in a different country, were being aggressively blamed and threatened, and could not access our belongings! Furthermore, when we returned at night to retrieve the alternative keys that had finally been provided, the front door to the building was also left unlocked and the apartment door was wide open. Given the central location of the apartment this was very alarming as anyone could have accessed our belongings. While the flat itself is passable, the total lack of security and abusive owner make this place an absolute no-go. (Ps. the owner may try to justify her behaviours and continue to blame us but the fact remains that we were never told not to reuse the safe box, which is perfectly common on groups trips, and even if we were, it is never acceptable to abuse paying guests and threaten to leave them on the street without access to their belongings.)

Needs refurbishment; especially the kitchen and bathroom

Good location, you can easily walk to the center, many restaurants, shops, bars around. Comfortable beds.

The only thing that is missing in the apartment is the corkscrew 😄

The place was excellent, old house with charming wooden floor. All clean and accurate.

A little bit noisy, but its because touristic streat nearby.
