Getting into the bldg was easy enough. A 2 digit code is always nice.

The key to the apt was just annoying. After managing to get it out of the lockbox, you then had to "extend" the key, with the light in the hallway going off..I just wish it had been a regular key that didn't need to be adjusted.

Well equipped very clean apartment situated close to all main sights. It is very quiet - don’t be put off that it appears to be on a main road - the apartment is at the back of the building with amazing views over Porto and the river.

One bedroom looks out onto an enclosed balcony (used as a breakfast room). Not unusual in Portugal, but the windows need a blind to provide privacy. The curtains are not sufficient.

Not enough hot water after the fourth person. Not enough supplement to cover the whole stay.

Technically in the village of Gaia, not in Porto, this apartment is greatly located because the public transport of both towns is well connected. Sao Bento, a major train hub, is just one metro stop away and, in fact, that ride over the bridge crossing the Douro was a constant highlight of our holiday—and probably the reason why the offering is called "Instaworthy". (As a side note for fans of wine: Gaia is where all Port cellars are and is also home to the World of Wine, a very interesting experience museum.) It has a well equiped kitchen, a good washing machine and enough space to accommodate our party of four. The two bathrooms helped a lot to make our mornings faster.

The location does have a downside: the apartment faces directly a busy street that is loud until very late hours. Two rooms have windows in that side and the sound insulation is pretty bad, which can make for very unquiet nights. Earplugs, though uncomfortable, may help.
