Visiting the town of Aveiro was very pleasant, and the apartment was very well kept, easy to access, and offered everything we needed. Our host was very welcoming and very available to help us with anything we had questions about. We appreciated the proximity to parking (which is not on the street but just across the canal), and enjoyed the view of the canal from our bedroom. There is also a bit of construction and roads in that view, but the water made up for it! Averio is a very pretty and walkable town -- It could also be a great base for day trips and to the the beach (a short drive).

Really nothing! But a suggestion --- So nice to have a washer, but we had a little trouble operating. This was probably just due to our not being familiar with the type of machine. I always find it helpful to have written directions (maybe only Americans would be confused by the operations so it could be just in English!) although our host did show us how to operate. Minor, but there were so many films in the book shelves that looked interesting, but not a player.

Lovely stay by the canal and wonderful hostess. Two minutes walk to numerous restaurants, bars and boats

Quite noisy as very close to the main highway

The apartment was very cosy, clean and well- equipped. The staff was very friendly!

Within easy walking distance to majority of attractions.
