FLH Alfama Homey Apartment

Location is very convenient with a lot of cafes, restaurants and ministores, close to every public transport locations. A lot of foot traffic day and night. One must be very fit to climb all the stairs and uphill climbs. Very touristic.

The pick up of the key was out of the way and dragging all the luggage along using Uber cost a bit. They could have used a coded drop box. We only got one key, so if you're more than one in the flat, should be wary of whose gonna keep the key. As it is a self lock door, God forbid if you forget the key inside. The fridge packed up on the second week of our stay, which was inconvenient cos we had to throw away some of the stuff we bought. On the very first day we told them about it but they sent a technician to check and it was tripping the circuit. Another technician was sent, he came and removed the safety plug. Every time we touched the fridge, we were getting shocked, so we switched it off instead of the risk of getting electrocuted. It took another week for them to bring a new one. Then again, we had to clean the old fridge and it was still sitting there with the new fridge box at our departure. That put a damper on my stay.

The apartment was beyond our expectations. It is lovely designed and full of beautiful and useful details. Nice bed with a mattress of a good quality and size. Great speed of Wi-Fi. There is a working place with a monitor. TV is really big and has cool audio system. Cozy lighting, board games, garbage sorting system, all necessary things for cleaning. Perfect towels and bed sheets. We really loved everything. Supermarket is close, lots of restaurants nearby, embankment… We stayed here for 1 month to find out a permanent place to live in Lisbon and it was a great time. highly recommend!

the only thing that could be better: dishwasher, there is no one, unfortunately.
