Host Wise - Lovely Shinny Flats with Balcony - Clerigos

Good central location. No parking, but we knew that in advance. Compact studio accommodation with welcome bottkes of water and wine. Good shower but it was tight to get into and out of the cubicle. OK cooking facilities (two rings and microwave oven) with a small no. of useful sachets of salt, oil and sugar, plus some washing up liquid. Bed comfortable but see below. Tiny balcony but it did get the sun all day. Plenty of windows to let the sun in. Access to the property was straightforward. Good communication generally from the agency.

The bed was king size but the space available was so narrow that it could only be accessed from one side. The sofa with a highish back was at the foot of the bed so it was hard for one person to get in and out of bed. Could do with a sponge/scourer for washing up.

I got unlucky with a bad view (you could only see the houses beside out of the window) maybe you can get a better view with another room than I got

Well situated and handy to what we needed.

I was not prepared for the 'trick' that advertised the tariff as €53, and then before check out another €59 was added for a 'cleaning' fee. As the owner stated, it was put there before I clicked 'book' but I did not look closely enough....it has never been that way on any other booking I have made. As we were only there for a quick overnight, it was incredibly pricey for what we got and €59 for cleaning, more than the cost of the actual room, was outrageous!!! I had no opportunity to cancel once I realised my mistake. Booking.com completely ignored my complaint! Very disappointed!

Location and cleanliness

The soundproofing between floors was nonexistent. We were constantly woken up by the people above us walking and having amorous activities

Everything in the apartament was lovely! Great position, and the staff was helpful and always there to assist.

The shower head broke, unfortunately, while having a shower, but the staff was very comprensive and helpful with this situation.
