Apartments in downtown

The neighborhood, the appartment, the loacation, pretty much everything was great.

There was an asian cooking smell, present throughout the visit. I am not certain if that was from the appartment itself or coming from the building. It wasn't a big deal for us, but i could see it be an potential issue for other people.

Convenient location, safe and clean

The apartment is fantastic! Fabulous location, lovely patio, useful kitchen, comfortable bed, washing machine. It is right in the heart of the baixa area with cafes, restaurants, and shops seconds away. Our host was very attentive and helpful. Great stay. We would rent again and recommend for sure.

Minor things that can't really be changed. The lift goes one floor short of the apartment. We knew that going in, but just want to mention for anyone it may be an issue for. Also, the shower has a sloped ceiling. At 5'10" or 177cm I had to duck slightly or hit my head when showering. Again, this didn't really bother me but thought I should mention it.

Great communication at all times with Maria. The apartment had a very comfortable bed & was in a good location, convenient for shops, restaurants, metro etc

Great location, very central to what we wanted to see and do. It was lovely having a balcony even when it was cold outside. The apartment was very spacious - plenty of room for us to sort our suitcases. Once we got in (there was a slight issue but that was quickly resolved) access was easy with two sets of keys. It was good to have a full kitchen and laundry.

It was what we were expecting and no problems.

This location is very central with a lot going on so it made it easy to access all the different areas of Lisbon throughout the day and night. The apartment had all the amenities of a home and it was very charming to be in a European apartment. We absolutely LOVED the little terrace and having wine up there before dinner is one of our favorite memories from the trip. The host was communicative and getting the keys was easy.

So we ran into a problem that is unlikely to happen again, but it seems that the automatic lock stopped working during the day and when we got home from a long night out, the door was unlocked. Everything was exactly in place and none of our possessions were disturbed, but obviously this made us uncomfortable. I will hand it to the host that when I called him at like 3 AM, he was helpful and explained (in broken English) that the maid may have left the door unlocked during the day - and then later messaged me a detailed explanation of what the locksmith thinks happened because of the electronic lock. This is something the landlord should get squared away, and it definitely put a damper on the end of the trip for us, but we genuinely really enjoyed this apartment/location/and everything else.
