Cozy River View Alfama apartment

The apartment is located at the best location in Alfama. You will not forget the view from the window. There is a walking distance to all key attractions around, but retro tram (No 28) stop is just next to. The apartment is rather compact but well equipped. You can find some good spots around to spend a breakfast time (Antu Alfama is perfect) as well as many restaurants serving Portuguese specialties. All guidance and tips from Thais (the host) were accurate. She is always ready to assist.

There are two inconveniences which should be noted. There is no air condition in the apartment and the big fan could not be enough to feel there comfortable. We were there at the beginning of June during celebration of St. Anthony - Lisbon's patron. Decorated little family-run restaurants with tables and grills (primarily sardines) were right outside our windows and everywhere in the immediate area. The celebration was wonderful, sardines with beer and wine were delicious, but unfortunately, it lasted until dawn on every day of the weekend, just when we wanted to get some rest during the night.

Great location to explore Alfama and nearby places on foot. Host was very friendly and informative.

This was a delightful sunny place in a great neighborhood, windows to let in air, sun and a view (including excellent street art!) and clean minimalist, modern kitchen and bathroom. Overall, highly recommend.

I'm a bit allergic to laundry perfumes, probably most people think that smell means "clean" but to me it means: horrible, yikes, headaches are likely ahead. The windows bringing in fresh air made it much better, but neutral / un-fragranced laundry products is a detail that would have made this property 100% perfect.
