Owner pretends not to understand that many guests do not want to stay on the ground floor for security and privacy reasons. Blamed me for not letting him know I did not want ground floor in advance when he knew very well I had no way of knowing that apartment 06 is ground floor. In a 5 floor building 80% of the apartments are above ground, so the onus is on the owner to advertise transparently and let guest decide if ground floor is acceptable or not. Absolutely obstinate and rude "the customer is always wrong" style of service which is all too common in this part of the world. Refused to move me to an upper floor when I received check-in instructions and learned it was ground floor. Lots of fake reviews on his page - we know because they are from locals and only have one word. The irritation starts right upon confirmation when the owner duplicates the Booking function to tell when we will arrive, stating he wants to organize his cleaning staff. As long as guest arrives and leaves within stated check in and out times no need to bother us more. That's what we pay for. Avoid this guy, he's clearly in the wrong business.

Apartment has building reception on one side, side street on another, and busy parking lot on a third side. Imagine owner being so cheap they only provide one towel for a two-night stay.
