"Great apartment in quite location"

The apartment is comfortable and in very good condition There are big refrigerator and oven It is located on the first floor and in a quiet area

The owner asked and insisted me send him a passport copy. I offered him to check my identity personally by reviewing my docs, however, he insist on the copy. I checked the process with booking.com and based on Romanian regulation, the customer does not need to send a copy but to provide a document to check the identity. It was a very strange request from the private owner asking personal document copy.
