Although the building is quite old (as most of Bucharest's buildings) the flat is brand new, technological (Alexa installed and universal sockets were a plus) and clean. The location is just a few minutes from the old town, and even if very close to a busy road, with closed windows during the night we couldn't hear any noise. Mattress is very firm and comfortable. Shower has nice features.

Minor things that could be improved are the shower door, as it gets messy while showering, the mattress size, quite small although comfortable. They would charge 30 more euros if you need the sofa bed. The need to pay for a 200 euros deposit before accessing the property. It is quite clear in the instructions after you book for the room, but still uncommon in my opinion. We didn't read the check in email until being in front of the building (therefore we didn't pay for the deposit) but the landlord was kind enough to give us access prior our payment, which was done on the day. They refunded the deposit after we left.

A clean, well presented property with everything you need for a city break! The location is great - right across from all the bars and restaurants of the old time. It is well situated with everything in walking distance! The instructions and communication from the owner were excellent.

Good location, clean and spacious apartment. Clear and precise instructions and good communication made for less stress and comfortable stay, sometimes apartment rental leaves you feeling like you're on your own, but not here.

Bed a little stiff for me and could use another pillow or choice of styles, would be nice to have a bottle of water staged in apartment for guests but these are more suggestions than problems. Can be a little noisy on the street late night there.

Location, facilities, ease of access, convenient parking

I enjoyed the location, the cleanliness and open plan style of the apartment and the kitchen was very functional. Fully equipped with vacuum, mop, clothes line, kettle/coffee machine, stove and oven etc. Also lots of gadgets such as Alexa, bluetooth mirror, extendable tv etc, so if you are someone who knows how to use those it would be great. Also a keypad access to apartment and a deadbolt for inside/overnight which can be helpful for a solo traveller. Aircon and windows mean great airflow to apartment too. The owners were friendly and helpful, and assisted with airport transport.

Not a bad thing, but the washing machine is in German. Google translate is required if you have delicate items but if not you can just whack it on any setting. Also runs along a busy road so lots of traffic noise and emergency vehicle sirens. Its nothing if you're used to it or from a big city but if you are from a rural area you may be surprised.

The communication with apartment owner was extremely easy and they were very accommodating to our early flight check in. The apartment itself is beautiful inside and the location is perfect for exploring old town.
