Lyric Studio

The host agreed to allow me to check-in early, but everything after that was horrible. I arrived at the property at 13:00 o’clock. When I got in, there was mud on the floor, which the host noticed and got the cleaning staff to fix. But that was only the tip of the iceberg. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned after that last use, there was literal shit which I had to flush. There was a mouldy toilet paper roll in a very dirty basket, the radiator was slimy and gross, the towels were 100% not fresh or crisp, they had probably been used and then set out to dry. There were also dirty glasses, old toiletries, shampoo in the hand wash pump and a burnt out candle. It was also not possible to open the bathroom window. I didn’t say anything at this point, because I am not a confrontational person and I had my own towel and toiletries. I though I could live with everything for 1 night and as a solo female traveller I was a bit uneasy about confronting the male host. That changed later in the day when I noticed there were stains on the bedsheets. Some looked like makeup and others were white and hardened… i will let you be the judge… At this point I had enough and I politely asked the owner for a set of clean sheets and towels. He was instantly dismissive and wanted to see what I didn’t like. He came into my room and he started making up excuses, saying the stains were bleach stains (yeah, right), playing the victim like I was somehow offending him and his staff for wanting better hygiene in the room. We started arguing and he implied I was crazy for wanting these basic things. He was going on about how I had to prove those stains are what I thought and not bleach. He even had the nerve to say that I got what I paid for…Anyway, after a long back and forth I finally got him to give me another bedsheet (no duvet cover or pillowcase) and another towel. I thought this was the end of it.

cleanliness, dark, very crowded by other flats and there is a restaurant so it is noisy

Great location, intimate and cozy place, interior court has a sitting area, well lit, The decoration is lovely with watercolor paintings on the wall, the wardrobe is great with hangers available. I got 4 clean towels, shower gel and shampoo and there is also a hairdryer available. It has a good fengshui.

The garbage bins are right in front of the window of the bedroom, There was no smells but I guess that in the summertime can be smelly. Some hair on the bathroom floor and the shower is leaking in the whole bathroom. Wasnt provided with slippers and no cleaning mop or rugs to dry the floor myself

The only good thing about this property is the location, right in the old center, everything else failed my expectations with regard to comfort and the general well being.

It is so called a “ Studio” but is far from truth, in fact it’s just a tiny room part of a house, with poor natural light, with crumbling walls that gives a mouldy appearance, the water heater(radiator) was useless( no heat given despite the fact was cold outside and inside the room in mid of March), very poor amenities in general. Nu e nici pe departe un Studio după nume, e doar o cămăruța a unei case. Pereții scorojiti cu aspect de igrasie, caloriferul doar de formă, fără sa se ofere căldură deși era frig, facilitați foarte sumare.
