It has a very good location, walkable to anywhere in the center. The room was really clean and warm and beautiful.

The location is great, very close to the heart of the city. The place itself is very basic but also very clean, so it could be good option if you practically only need a bed to sleep in. But...

1. The entrace door is difficult to open, it took several tries, if you have baggage/child with you it puts you in a difficult situation. 2. In the first night of our 2 night stay I tried to plug the reading light in and it electrocuted me. Not like a small buzz but with a heat and sharp pain I could feel in my entire arm. The light plug was visibly damaged (but as it was under the bed I only saw it afterwards). I let the owner/manager know. They did apologize, but as this is a serious and possibly dangerous issue I would have expected him to offer to change the plug (we could not use any reading lamp because of this) or to offer a partial refund/ compensation, other than saying "sorry you were electrocuted in our apartment". All in all it negatively affected our stay. Cluj is my hometown, I visit it every couple of months and sometimes I book an apartment instead of the family home - this one I will avoid and I recommend you to do the same.
