I have stayed here before and would always choose it again! I love the location- it's my favourite part of the city, good public transport links into town but no tourists and feels relaxing and local. Safe, leafy suburb, close to the national park. Cosy, comfortable and with everything you need and great value for money.

This place has bad reviews but I completely disagree with them. Yes, it needed dusting and vacuuming and yes there was a smell of cigarettes (and someone else's rubbish under the sink), but the good definitely outweighed the bad. Excellent value for money. Lovely leafy suburb location in sector 2. Nice bars and shopping close by. Comfortable bed. Landlady was lovely to me. Cosy and felt like home. Fridge, freezer and hob, I cooked sometimes. Nice little bath and shower, lovely hot water. I really enjoyed my stay and could have stayed there forever.

There's no mop or cleaning products/things, so for a long stay it gets dirty and you can't clean. Nowhere to put bins out or recycling but that's normal in Bucharest...theres a skylight but no window so no view. Very sparse kitchen items but I managed to cook anyway so not too bad. I think the other travellers on here whining are spoiled. You get what you pay for!
