"If I wasn’t travelling from place to place I would have found my place for a week or longer."

Location, friendlyness of owner and neighbourhood!!, size of apartment, very useful balcony, fully rain- and windprotected, yet open, proximity to city center, quietness.

I‘m never cooking, but a water kettle for heating coffee water would be nice and would safe energy. It was possible to heat up water, using the electric stove however.
