Well situated, very clean and superb host!

Nothing to complain about

The owners were very very supportive when I got late. Everything is available. The internet connection was sorted fast. There's tea and coffee too which is an additional bonus. There is a 24 hour supermarket downstairs.

The bathroom. It's through the kitchen and honestly needs a deep cleaning. There's a constant foul smell and the drains are choked. Half the flush button is missing. Things need to be fixed there. The lift is only through the first floor.

I really struggled to get an invoice from the owner. Upon arrival I was asked to pay for the whole period and wasn't offered even a plain receipt for the payment. I wasn't helped to book a taxi back to aurport

Central location. Nearby shops, restaurants & bars. Clean apartment, good shower, air conditioning.

Communication with the host prior to arrival was very poor. Booking.com merely stated "someone will meet you at the property", the host failing to respond to my messages on three separate occasions. When we arrived at the property, he still hadn't replied and we had to resort to asking a nearby business owner (a complete stranger) if she would help us in trying to contact the host. It transpired the host was in Italy and, eventually, his friend arrived to let us in. At that point, we were informed it was cash only payment, again that hadn't been clear on booking.com and I incurred unforeseen charges using the ATM. A poor experience with both this host and booking.com.

Apartment is in the heart of the old city, walking distance to all famous tourists places. 24h market is under the building.
