Building is a bit old

The apartment is great! The location is perfect, walking distance from the city center and everything you might need (pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants etc). Everything was clean, the kitchen had all the necessary things, the bathroom had good water pressure and hot water, the AC works well, the wifi is fast, there are shades for the night, washing machine, a small closet, everything is well kept. The apartment is on the 6th floor, you have to take the elevator + one floor of stairs. The balcony is very nice! And check-in was also punctual and smooth.

The bed had a broken beam, so it was not so confortable (after the first night we slept with the head in the oposite side so it was ok), because this caused for the center of the mattress to be lower than the rest. When we got in, the apartment had a very strong smell of cigarettes, which took almost 3 days to pass and for non-smokers is very evident and disturbing. The toilet had a bit of bad smell of sewage (probably a problem of the building, not of the apartment). You can see that the hosts tried to make it better with a lot of automatic air fresheners, but honestly not enough to cover up the smell. Even with these problems, we still think the apartment was great overall.
