Riverside apartment

The Riverside apartment is absolute perfection for a travelling family or group. The location is central- a stone’s throw from all major attractions and a view of the castle from your window. It is accurate to the pictures shown. If anything it is better than expected with high airy ceilings, modern well kept furniture, a well stocked kitchen, and countless thoughtful touches. Jan was a gracious host who met us in person on arrival to show us to the apartment- as taxis/cars need to park a short distance away (due to the apartment being in a pedestrian zone). We were provided with complimentary water, soft drinks, and wine along with an iPhone to use locally. Unit has AC in the living room to cool the apartment, a great washer/dryer set up, and all the other modern amenities you could want. We will stay here again if we are ever in Ljublana again and if we are lucky enough to find it available.

WiFi wasn’t very reliable

Gorgeous updated apartment in a great location. Huge bed, well equipped kitchen, riverfront. Centrally located to the old town, castle funicular, everything. Loved this place! Would definitely stay again.

Not a problem for us but it's a two story walk up, no lift. Parking is a short walk away.

The apartment is lovely, well appointed and comfortable in a fabulous location. The main bedroom is very roomy and while the second bedroom is smaller it also has a nice comfortable bed. Lots of unexpected mod cons! There is a nice bathroom and a separate laundry. We didn't actually meet Jan the host, but he was very helpful by remote communication. We were able to self check in easily and we were able to extend our stay for a few hours because of a late train. Ljubljana is compact and the apartment is right in the middle with great views of the castle and river. Many restaurants nearby.

There's no lift up to the 2nd floor. Because they are not steep the stairs are manageable.

The location, the comfortable bed and the views from the apartment were my favourite parts!! However the entire apartment was beautiful and cosy! Jan the host was super friendly and he was very helpful with helping us with parking, checking in and explaining everything to us upon arrival 😊

The only thing that I would comment on is the wi fi connection in the apartment was not always stable and kept dropping out.
