Garsonniera Maria

We had a wonderful stay at Garsonniera Maria this week! The apartment is perfect for two people – cozy, clean, and equipped with everything you might need, including a fully stocked kitchen with more than just the basics. The bed is very comfortable, and the balcony is a lovely bonus for relaxing. The location is excellent – just a short walk to the old city and many great restaurants. A special thank you to the owner, who is extremely kind and helpful. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

We chose this apartment for its central location, ideal for exploring Bucharest on foot—and it didn’t disappoint. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a city trip. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of storage, a nice balcony, and excellent heating, which was much appreciated given the chilly weather. The kitchen had all the essentials, the fridge worked well, and there was even a washing machine available. The apartment actually looked better in person than in the photos and was perfectly spacious for two people. The location was excellent: easily reachable from the airport via bus 100 and a 15-minute walk. The Old Town is about 20 minutes away on foot, and the area felt very safe, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Also, there’s a church just across the street—it's lovely, but the bells can be heard in the morning, so if you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea. Communication with the host was great—clear check-in instructions were sent via WhatsApp before our arrival. All in all, a great stay that I would definitely recommend.

The only small thing to mention is that the shower curtain could use a refresh.

Very clean with all the amenities that you will need. The owner made proposals for the sights and is very friendly! The location also helps as it is just a block away from Athinaion. I will surely book it again at the next visit! Also the central heating and the bath was marvellous after 15km of daily walking...
