Nice comfy stay in the family small farm.

A beautifully renovated farmstead with an amazing herbal garden, really friendly proprietors and a funny dog.

What's not to like? Obviously, the night life in the middle of nowhere is lacking, but that's kinda the point...

The village is so small there are no shops. For us this was no problem. It was very quiet. The surroundings are always quiet. The property has beautiful herb garden and vegetable garden

For us everything was fine, but some people may find it too quiet

The stay was unforgettable. Tjaša and Bojan are great hosts. Especially our daughter liked them very much. Beautiful herb garden, privacy, silence. What more could you ask for? If we go to this part of Slovenia, we would love to come back.

We highly recommend the accommodation! Bojan and Tjasa are extremely friendly, kind people. They were waiting for us with delicious herbal tea. The accommodation is in a romantic old house, but inside it has been renovated, very comfortable! We had a great time there, thank you!

We have been warmly welcomed to the beautiful home of the hosts not only with preciosities of the herbal garden. We enjoyed the nice conversations, the company of the kind dog, very useful travel advice and much more. Due to the thick walls, the well equipped and comfortable apartment has been nicely cool even on hot days. There are picturesque walks that start right from the apartment on which you can explore the beautiful countryside that you can also enjoy from the peaceful terrace. Also there are several villages and sightseeing spots worth visiting in the area. Not only for children an absolute paradise! Najlepša hvala!! :)

We spent our holiday in May 2024 in apartmaji Hedera. We highly recommend this place. The hosts are very friendly and helpful - they welcome us with tea and wine and gave us a lot of advice on what to visit and where to shop for best local products. The place is also dog-friendly (we travelled with our four-legged companion). The apartment itself is really charming: with a separate entrance and an idyllic herbal garden, entirely at guests' disposal. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the garden, reading books, listening to birds and bees and admiring the beautiful hilly landscape. The bedroom is spacious and pleasant and it has a terrace when you can also sit and admire the view, while drinking coffee. Brje is a small village with a very Mediterranean vibe. It has a perfect location, as it is close to the Italian border (around 15 minutes drive), to the Vipava valley and to the Adriatic coast on the Slovenian side as well. It means you can have a very diverse stay: you can experience both mountains and seaside, Italy and Slovenia, outdoor activities and beach time. During our stay we did some mountain hiking, swam in the Adriatic sea, visited Trieste, admired views from cliffs in the Strunjan National Park and on the Rilke's Trail, visited a local vineyard and an olive farm. And in the meantime we still had a lot of time to relax. We would gladly come back to this place and recommend it to everyone.
