Guesthouse Emilia

Excellent host

Very nice location. We really enjoyed sitting outside after we came back from trips. We could use grill, outside kitchen. We were in the middle of holiday and we need to wash our clothes. It was not a problem

Maybe bed was not so comfortable, but you could not agree.

The apartment is fully equipped and really fancy looking. We had two separate rooms and bathroom. We got all help we needed, and the owner was extremely friendly. The apartment is in walking distance from Lucija, where you find food stores and restaurants.. Portoroz is about 2-3km, stunning, modern town, Piran is about 5km, old city can be reached by free shuttles. For reaching out the beaches you will need car. Overall, we absolutely enjoyed staying in Emilia Guesthouse.

The kitchen is outside in a separate building, but fully equipped (even washing machine). There is no dining table inside the house, but in the garden it is nice shady.

Location was a bit far from the beach but we wanted it like this, as it was a very quiet and relaxing area. We enjoyed the nice views of the mountains and the grasshopper sounds. We walked to the beach several times (30 minutes). Kitchen was fully equipped and we use it to store our breakfast that we purchased from a nearby supermarket (10 min walking distance). Dennis is a fantastic host, ready to help when needed - he gave us suggestions about restaurants, supermarkets, POI, etc.

The apartment is on a hill quite far from the sea and the center, but the garden is beautiful with olive trees and grapes and fig and all. It is a very relaxed place, so great to get back there in the evening. But it is definitely not ideal if you want to spend some days without a car.

Really nice place with a beautiful view. Nice big garden. Friendly and helpful hosts add to the overall charming atmosphere. You can get to the beaches and the city really quickly by bicycle.
