City Break Apartments Chic and Luxury

Best location, friendly hosts, good facilities

Very well placed accomodation at the begining of the main Knez Mihailo street. It is placed in an older house but the flats we used were modern and clean with wifi. I definitely recommend for the breakfast small Food Store (weird name) across the streets at the crossroads for the best and the freshest local burek, mantje and more. For others there is 24/7 kebab station down stairs and another big bakery accross the street.

The apartment was recently renovated

The property was advertised on Booking.com with a picture of a different apartment. It was described as chic and luxurious was anything but. I would love to post pictures of the place. We were given one roll of toilet paper for a 9 day visit. No paper goods at all. No support from owner. Had a tv problem which was corrected. Had a door lock problem which was never corrected so that most of the nights we had to sleep with unlocked doors. The owner was so rude when I called to just ask for some help. She sarcastically told me to just go to bed and the lock would probably be fine in the morning. I vowed that I would not call her for anything. She never checked back. The description said it had beautiful city views and a garden view. Total joke This was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed.

The location was perfect. Very close to the main pedestrian area in the city.

Comfor accomodation at the center of the city, but very quiet.

The location was the best part! Super comfy bed, very nice shower, spacious kitchen area with coffee maker and dishes. Bed linens and bathroom very clean, smelled nice. Great little terrace with seating overlooking the design district shopping area and quiet despite the central location. It’s a 2 minute walk to the best gelato place, too! Host was kind and accommodating, I would absolutely stay here again!

First morning I woke up (Saturday) there was very loud construction in the main walkway downstairs that I didn’t know about, starting at 7am. It did not continue the following days but it was not a pleasant way to wake up. There were, however, notices posted downstairs that I missed, though I was not informed when I booked. The unit could have been cleaner: coffee maker was full of old mouldy coffee, some dishes were oily, and the bedside drawer full of crumbs.

Amazing location, a great apartment, and instructions received from the landlord. We had a great sleep. Highly recommended!!
