Thirsty River Apartments

located near the centre of Bovec, parking place availble.

WATCH OUT: we had the apartment located in a cellar. The pictures do not clearly represent this, nor the general description of the house. The cellar is humid and it smells, has only two small windows I can imagine the other appartments are ok, but avoid the cellar. During our stay, there was quite some rain and consequently no means of drying wet clothes, shoes, ... Everything starts to smell. We used the apartment only to sleep and avoided the place as much as possible. Key of the apartment is available in the local pub, but no information whatsoever was given. Personnel of the pub does not care.

The location in Bovec was excellent, all hiking trails close, all water activities start from walking distance, main square 2 min walk etc. Also very good facilities - kitchen, washing machine, wet clothes hanger. We stayed for 4 nights and used them all.

The fact that it is in basement did not bother us, but it was quite humid. We only managed with the dryer (it is provided by the host) working all the night. Also - as we were two couples it was a bit uneven with the bedrooms- one was excellent, the other very small.

Nice, clean, spacious apartment, fully equipped w. Big tv screen and washing maschine.

The only source of the heating was a small radiator.

Really great place. Also people ware (are always) lovely and helpful. We will come back next time :-).

Apartment is directly near the center of bovec. It was very clean and is good equiped.
